Great Place Cottage is set in the rural retreat of Brissenden Court which is situated between Tenterden and Ashford. The origins of this former farm building date back to the mid 1860s and now offers a quiet, peaceful, central location to be based for visiting Kents many attractions. The cottage is entered from its small courtyard. The ground floor has a very well equipped kitchen with all mod cons (see list). Through to the spacious and comfortable lounge with some antique furnishings. Well presented bathroom, with bath, separate shower, two basins and a separate toilet. Up-stairs has a double master bedroom and a twin bedded room, one at each end of the cottage. A w/c with toilet and basin is also on this level between the bedrooms, along with two case storage and hanging rail spaces.
Located in Ashford, this cottage is in a rural area. Hothfield Heathlands Nature Reserve and Hamstreet Woods National Nature Reserve reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include The Reindeer Centre and Battlezone. Great Chart Golf and Leisure and South of England Rare Breeds Centre are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
