Welcome to our charming home in Dobbs Weir, Essex, a serene retreat that accommodates up to four guests. Nestled amidst picturesque lakes and expansive fields, this spacious residence is an ideal spot for relaxation and adventure alike. The living space features a cozy log burner, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the three well-appointed bedrooms include a large double bed in the first room, a single bed in the second, and another single bed in the third, ensuring comfort for all guests. The newly fitted bathroom is equipped with modern amenities, including a rain shower and accessibility features, making it suitable for everyone.
Our property boasts a moderate kitchen and hallway, leading to a large garden that offers a climbing frame for children, enhancing the family-friendly environment. We take great pride in maintaining the tranquility of our home and request that guests treat the house and garden with respect. Climbing on the decking with the Bonsai tree or disturbing the flower beds is prohibited, as any damage to the garden’s features will require compensation. A gardener is on hand to tend to the gardens regularly, ensuring a beautiful outdoor space for everyone to enjoy.
Located on a private road in a quiet, elderly neighborhood, our home is ideal for those seeking a peaceful getaway. The surrounding area offers a wealth of activities for both adults and children, including rowing, canal boat hire, and visits to local attractions such as Paradise Wildlife Park and Broxbourne Woods, all within a short drive. For dining and convenience, the Fish & Eels gastro pub and an off-licence are just a minute's walk away, while supermarkets are a mere five-minute drive from the property.
Guest access is granted to all areas of the home except for the garage and loft space. To ensure a pleasant stay, we have a few house rules: no parties, no pets, and the chiminea must be monitored and extinguished after use. We kindly ask that any wood used for indoor burning be replaced for the next guest's enjoyment. With easy access to local transport, including Broxbourne Station and Stanstead Airport, our home provides an excellent base for exploring the East of England while enjoying the natural beauty and cultural highlights of the area.
