Starboard is a lovely two bedroom holiday bungalow located in a prime location, ideal for exploring the Isle of Wight’s beautiful eastern coast and countryside - less than half a mile from the village's beaches.
Local amenities include a flat approximate 5 minute walk to the local ‘Welcome’ Co-op with the Post Office and next door a very good delicatessen / coffee shop which also sells takeaway meals.
Close by are bus stops (the number 8 route) for those not bringing their car or who fancy a day trip (in the village the Coastal Breezer is available that does a tour of the island).
Being one of the Islands’ top coastal villages (Bembridge won the ‘Village of the Year’ recently in the BBC Countryfile Magazine Awards.
Bembridge was called a ‘Wonderful coastal setting with a pier leading to the lifeboat station (where holidaymakers can visit), plus a friendly village community with independent shops, cafes and restaurants.’
Bembridge has excellent fishmongers, butchers, village bakery (5 star hygiene rating and tables with seating inside and outside in their own garden area), the farm shop also houses a vegetarian café on the first floor.
Bembridge has an assortment of different types of eateries, bars and pubs. The nearest pub to ‘Starboard’ is the Crab and Lobster and the Beach Hut, seafood café/bar where you can eat alfresco enjoying the spectacular views overlooking the sea.
Starboard is detached, light and airy and has been tastefully furnished.
On entering this Bembridge Isle of Wight holiday home you will first enter a tiled and glazed porch which is ideal for storing sandy shoes and sandals after a trip to the beach, then you will make your way into the entrance hall, on the left and right you will find the two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin single divan beds. Just along the hallway, the bedrooms share a separate shower room with a modern good size walk-in shower.
The kitchen and utility room has a full range of appliances including a cooker, washing machine and microwave and dishwasher.
The living room/dining area is furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs and good size Smart TV with Freeview along, this leads to the conservatory. The enclosed tranquil rear garden with garden furniture can be accessed by the conservatory and utility room.
To the front of the property there is a pretty garden with shrubbery around the border, together with a shared driveway and parking for one car directly in front of Starboard.
