Lanteglos is undoubtedly special – a little piece of heaven in beautiful North Cornwall. From the moment that you arrive down the leafy drive, you’ll feel the peace and tranquillity, an oasis in this green and secluded valley. The setting is romantic and idyllic, with 15 acres of enchanting gardens and woodlands: if you take a moment to just sit and listen, all you will hear is the soothing babble of the brook and the birds singing.
An ideal place to unwind and explore the neighbouring countryside and beaches and places of interest. The property is situated on a quiet holiday park which never seems to be busy as everything is well laid out and spacious.
There is a games room plus badminton court , tennis etc which is open all year around. The actual hotel closes in the winter. Bowood Park Hotel and Golf Course is open all year and right next door (easy walking distance) and you can use the bar and restaurant and of course play golf there.
The famous Camelford trail for walking or riding bikes is close by and the nearest beach just 4.9 miles away.
Just a bit further is the famous sandy beach of Polzeath. A great bathing and surfing beach, you can enjoy some wonderful family time and make mermories, take a walk or learn to surf. St Enodoc Church near Polzeath is the last resting place of Sir John Betjeman. Nearby Rock is popular for sailing and windsurfing.
Port Isaac is only a few miles away. This pretty village, with narrow twisting streets, fish cellars, geranium-filled alleys and a tiny beach. Doc Martin is filmed here.
Tintagel is only 5 miles away - the legendary birthplace of King Arthur, and site of his 13th Century castle.
Padstow with its harbour and well known restaurants is just 19 miles and the famouse Eden Project just 21 miles away making Lanteglos the ideal place to stay to explore
Redecorated in April 2020 - the property offers 2 bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other has a single bed plus a Z bed with a proper comfy sprung mattress so sleeps 4 with ease.
New Ash laminated flooring has been installed throughout giving a light airy feel to the property. Brand new fully fitted kitchen with oven hob, microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, coffee maker etc.
The bathroom was recently completely refitted and offers a fully tiled bathroom with power shower above the bath.
The large Flat screen TV also receives a full range of programmes.
There are a table and chairs to sit outside and enjoy a drink or a meal in the south facing garden area.
Free WiFi in the property.
For cooler days or in winter there is heating throughout the property to keep it cosy.
There is a self-service launderette on site
Guests can also use the facilities of the Lanteglos Country House Hotel which is on site plus all the other on-site facilities.

Lanteglos is surrounded by beautiful countryside, making this a wonderful area for walking. There is so much choice with glorious coastal footpaths and the mysterious Bodmin Moor to circular walks from the property.
The small town of Camelford is just over a mile away and offers an Award winning fish and chip shop, supermarket and two pubs which offer home cooked food.
Cornwall probably has the best beaches in the country and there is a choice of lovely sandy beaches within a 20-minute drive. There are beaches and rugged coastline to explore.
Plus the Camelford Way cycle path is only 2 miles away. There is even a bicycle rack to chain your bikes to right outside your lounge window.
There is no charge for electricity or water.
The beds will be made up with clean linen for your arrival and bath and hand towels provided.
