Stokesley, Cleveland

4

Situated just off the high street in the bustling town of Stokesley, this home is close to the Cleveland Hills and Roseberry Topping on the outskirts of the North York Moors National Park. Stokesley is rich with independent shops, public houses and eateries that stretch along its wide, cobbled main street. There is a traditional weekly market held in the market square on Fridays and a farmers market held on the first Saturday of each month. Take scenic walks along the River Leven which flows through the town. This provides an ideal base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales, the heather clad moors, and the pretty market towns of Great Ayton (4 miles), and Northallerton and Thirsk, both within 20 miles. The seaside spa resort of Saltburn is 14 miles whilst Whitby, Runswick Bay and Robin Hood s Bay are all within 35 miles. Take the two steps and enter into this attractive Townhouse, set over three floors; it has been beautifully and tastefully renovated, whilst retaining many original features and traditional charm. Once inside, you'll be welcomed by a bright, open plan kitchen with an adjoining dining room providing lots of light, high ceilings, and exposed beam and brick walls a lovely setting where families can gather and enjoy a home cooked meal. The stylish well equipped kitchen provides an electric oven and hob, microwave and a fridge with an ice compartment you could also enjoy a morning or post dinner coffee from the Nespresso coffee machine. The bathroom can be found just beside the kitchen with a shower over the bath and a WC; there is also a handy cloakroom for hanging your coats and storing footwear. After dinner, head up the stairs to the first floor to discover a cosy and comfortable sitting room that has a warming wood burner effect gas fire. Relax on the deep sofas while watching a movie on the Smart TV. When it's time to rest, head up to the next floor to find the two bedrooms, a king size and a double, both with space to store your belongings and to get ready for the day ahead. There is shared access through the small courtyard outside, extremely practical if you re arriving back from a muddy walk via the side alleyway as you can leave your boots at the door.
