Located in this charming Cornish fishing village and on the South West Coast Path there is plenty to do close to your doorstep. The cottage provides an ideal base for walkers and families alike, take a short drive or walk to Bodinnick where you will find Ferryside, Daphne du Mauriers home where she wrote her first book, 'the Loving Spirit'. Bodinnick is also where the car ferry leaves from giving you easier access into the west of Cornwall. Experience what Cornwall has to offer with its many hidden coves and beaches, fantastic sailing waters, the twin castles of Pendennis and St Mawes, cliff top walks and the many National Trust properties and gardens. The entrance to the cottage is via a small raised terrace that gives some privacy and an opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the view. The well equipped kitchen is located to the back of the cottage with electric oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher, the perfect place to prepare a family meal after a day of exploring. Form the kitchen there is also a door leading to the back court yard and basement where you will find the washing machine and tumble dryer, along with plenty of room for boat storage. After your lovely meal relax in the lounge with its original beamed ceiling, taking in the river view in front of the cosy log burner, you could also watch your favourite film on the TV/DVD. Stepping from here into the dining room, which will accommodate your party comfortably. Moving upstairs to the first floor where you will find the two bedrooms, a double with river views and the second twin bedroom. The spacious family bathroom is also on this floor and has a shower over the bath and WC. Outside to the rear of the property there is a small courtyard and a very short distance away from the property is a raised garden terrace providing uninterrupted views of the river and over the river to Fowey. There is also a small table and chairs to the front of the property where you can sit out and enjoy the views. There is a basement available to provide secure storage for your seaside equipment.
