The cottage has recently undergone a comprehensive refurbishment, blending modern comforts with original features such as exposed wooden beams. The spacious living room serves as a cozy gathering spot, furnished with reclining sofas positioned around a large log-burning stove, and includes a wall-mounted Freeview TV for entertainment. Adjacent to the living area is a practical boot room, perfect for drying walking gear after exploring the surrounding countryside. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area, along with a modern shower room, complete the ground floor layout, while the upper level features two generously sized bedrooms, accommodating up to four guests.
High Gregg Hall has a rich history, having been farmed by the Simpson family for four generations. Currently managed by Mark Simpson and his retired father Alan, the farm transitioned from dairy to a mixed operation, raising beef and sheep while also cultivating hay and haylage for their livestock. Guests are advised that access to the farm and livestock is restricted without the farmer's permission, ensuring a safe environment for both visitors and animals.
Additional amenities at the cottage include private on-site parking, bike storage, and superfast WiFi, making it an ideal choice for both relaxation and connectivity. One dog is welcome at no extra charge, with the possibility of accommodating additional pets upon request.
