East Cliff Cottage is a charming self-catering retreat located in the picturesque fishing village of Polperro, Cornwall, offering stunning views of the harbour and accommodating up to four guests. This two-bedroom property is arranged over three floors, featuring traditional furnishings, wooden beams, and window seats that enhance its cozy atmosphere. The cottage has a recently refurbished kitchen and boasts amazing views from all front-facing windows, including the double bedroom. Its prime location on a traffic-free lane allows easy access to local pubs, restaurants, and shops, as well as the scenic South West Coastal Path.

The accommodation includes a well-equipped kitchen/diner that seats five, complete with modern appliances such as an electric hob, oven, fridge with ice box, and a washing machine. The first floor hosts a comfortable sitting room featuring a woodburner effect electric fire, a three-seater sofa that doubles as a sofa bed, and entertainment options like a TV and DVD player. The bathroom is conveniently located on this level, equipped with a bath, shower, hand basin, and WC. The second floor houses a children’s bunk bedroom designed for kids up to their teenage years, alongside a master bedroom with built-in wardrobes and a double bed.

Outside, guests can enjoy a small patio area accessed via shared steps, which includes a terrace with a table and chairs, perfect for relaxing in the fresh air. Parking for the cottage is provided about a 5-10 minute walk away, with a permit available for the main town car park starting in 2022. It’s important to note that there is no direct car access to East Cliff Cottage, ensuring a tranquil environment away from traffic noise.

Guests are welcome to bring one well-behaved pet, and the property includes bed linen (though towels are not provided) along with heating and electricity. While mobile reception can be poor, networks like Orange and T-Mobile/EE perform well in the area. The beautiful Polperro beach is just a 10-minute walk away, with Talland beach located one mile from the cottage and other beaches accessible by car. For those seeking more amenities, the vibrant town of Looe is only four miles away, offering additional shops and facilities.
