Within a mile you will find the nearest shop. Please note, this is a pet-free, non-smoking property. Town: Dalston is a settlement located in Cumbria's Carlisle district, which was formerly a part of Cumberland. The red sandstone church of St. Michael's, which dates to the 13th century, is located in the town centre, and Dalston Hall is a magnificent Grade II listed structure with character and landscape gardens that is frequently used as a wedding location. The palace of the Bishops of Carlisle, Rose Castle, is about two miles south of Dalston; it is closed to the public but may be seen from the road. With two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, one World Heritage Site, numerous pedestrianised commercial areas, award-winning malls, vibrant farmer's markets, and a classic Victorian indoor market, Carlisle, a 2000-year-old city, is reachable in four and a half miles. Dalston is an excellent starting point for outdoor enthusiasts because it also offers easy access to the stunning North Pennines AONB and the Lake District National Park. Close to the Cumbrian Way - a popular walking route.

Located in Carlisle, this cottage is in the mountains and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Lake District National Park and Watchtree Nature Reserve, while The Sands Centre and Tullie House Museum and Gallery are cultural highlights. Magic Castle and AMF Bowling are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking/biking trails nearby.
