Wander to Pew Tor for panoramic views of the countryside and take peaceful walks around Windy Post Granite Cross. A short drive will take you to The Whitchurch Inn for a hearty, warming meal, or for a larger selection of restaurants, venture into Tavistock, which offers a variety of cuisine. Tavistock also has the largest outdoor market in the UK, the Tavistock Pannier Market, and the Grade I-listed Tavistock Parish Church. Plymouth, a beautiful area with plenty to see and do, is located further afield. The National Marine Aquarium is a great place to visit, especially for nature enthusiasts, and Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park provide a beautiful setting for a day out.
