Description
This charming and spacious barn conversion dating back the 1880’s is the ideal getaway for exploring the beautiful part of Norfolk. The village of Runham sits in a unique landscape under the big open skies that Norfolk is so famous for and its location close to the east coast beaches and within The Broads National Park, means that you have the best of both worlds on your doorstep.
As you step foot into this boutique style barn with an upside-down living layout, on the ground floor you will find two stylish and spacious bedrooms, both with super-king sized beds and with the option in one of the rooms to have these split into twin beds. On this floor you will also find the bathroom which has been thoughtfully decorated and offers a bath with an overhead shower. Upstairs you will find the large open plan living and dining area with comfortable seating and dining space. This space has been stylishly decorated and furnished creating a wonderful blend of the traditional features with the wooden beams and feature fire place (not in use) with modern touches and décor. Next door to the living area you will find the kitchen which his well-equipped offering everything you could wish for to prepare a home cooked feast.
Outside to the side of the barn you will find the large enclosed lawned garden with seating areas and unique planters throughout. The perfect space for friends to enjoy in the daytime sunshine or for enjoying a glass of wine and dining alfresco in the evenings. At the rear of the property which can be accessed from the ground floor you can also find a small courtyard area with seating.
Located in Great Yarmouth, this vacation home is on a lake. Museum of the Broads and Toad Hole Cottage are cultural highlights, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Orton Farmers' Market and Wroxham Barns. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens and Oasis Amusements are also worth visiting.
