Located in the heart of Winchcombe, a bustling and historic town in the Cotswolds, you can step out of the cottage and enjoy the abundance of traditional inns, independent shops and places to eat. Winchcombe's position on the Cotswold Way keeps it popular with walkers and history fans. Explore the area using the heritage GWR steam train (1 mile) that links the town with Broadway and Cheltenham Racecourse, and Sudeley Castle the burial place of Catherine Parr, which lies on the outskirts. Spend your time in Winchcombe taking in the gorgeous scenery with a walk or cycle around this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or take a gentle stroll along the River Isbourne. Take two steps into this spacious cottage, straight into the generous lounge/diner. Tastefully furnished with ample seating, there are comfortable sofas for your group to relax on while watching a movie on the Smart TV. For the cooler evenings, there is a feature electric fire that gives off some great warmth and creates a relaxing atmosphere. Continue through the lounge and into the dining area with a table and chairs for four. Alongside this area, there is some storage and a space to hang coats and store boots after a busy day of exploring. At the rear of the ground floor, you will find a well equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. You will have everything you need to dine in utilising the fantastic local produce you have on your doorstep. Moving up the narrow cottage stairs, on the first floor there is a generous master suite with a king size bed and TV. Next door you will find the family shower room with a shower and WC. On the second floor, in the original loft space, is a lovely twin bedroom with plenty of space for friends and children to share. Back on the ground floor and just off the kitchen is a downstairs WC. Outside, there is a lovely courtyard area with outdoor seating for alfresco dining. The space is south facing, so a great place to relax in the sunshine. Car parking can be found under half a mile away and is subject to availability and charges.
