Just a short drive from the South Cornwall coast and the stunning Roseland Peninsula, you will be ideally situated to enjoy this ever popular part of the county. Visit the traditional fishing villages of Mevagissey, Fowey and St Mawes, and the numerous sheltered coves and long sandy surfing beaches that the area is famed for. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore the South West Coast Path, offering breath taking cliff top walks. You will also be perfectly placed equidistant from Truro, the region's capital, and St Austell, boasting a wide range of shops and amenities. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include the Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Eden Project, the Tall Ships at Charlestown, Pendennis Castle and Trebah Gardens. There is also a children play area just behind the property and recreational fields which are just perfect for young ones. On entering this pretty cottage and heading to the left you will find yourself in the warm and welcoming lounge. This cosy room boasts a TV/DVD, original inglenook fireplace and coal effect gas fire, and provides a perfect place to relax after a day exploring. On the other side of the hallway sits a separate dining room which offers a great venue for a relaxed family meal, and in addition the fabulous feature of an open fire. A kitchen is then located towards the rear of the property, overlooks the garden and is perfectly appointed with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Finally, a contemporary shower room with shower and WC and heated towel rail completes the offering on the ground floor. Heading up the steep original stairs to the first floor you will then discover the beautifully presented bedrooms, and these comprise of a well proportioned super king size zip and link bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request), and a delightful twin room. Venturing outside and located to the rear of the cottage is a large enclosed garden with gravelled patio area, and garden furniture and a BBQ is provided for your relaxation and enjoyment. Parking for one car is located directly to the front of the cottage, and additional public and roadside parking is located nearby.
