Brecon, in the heart of this national park, is just 9 miles away. Head down the cobbled pathway to the front door and step into the traditional cottage, where you re sure to feel immediately at home. The bright and sunny kitchen is flooded with light, with everything you could need during your stay. With thick stone walls, deep window recesses, and the great oak lintel over the old inglenook open fire, many original features remain in the spacious lounge/diner. A warming wood burner adds to the charming and homely country aesthetic, while the dining table is thoughtfully set beside the window, so you can dine overlooking the garden. Head upstairs to the cottage s two bedrooms: one spacious double with village and river views, and one twin with views of an enormous sweet chestnut tree. The bathroom is also on the first floor, with a shower over the bath. From the lounge area, a door opens onto the rear patio area, where a table and chairs make a great place for an al fresco dinner. There is also a long garden, enclosed by walls and hedges, and a BBQ. Ample parking is available.
