There are farm shops with cafes and delis selling local produce, and local art galleries should you want to take a reminder of your stay home with you. The gentle countryside that surrounds you offers plenty of walking and cycling trails for lovers of outdoor activities. Head to the market town of Richmond, home to Richmond Castle and Easby Abbey for a slice of Yorkshire history, just 5.5 miles away. Step into this stylish barn conversion which offers a beautiful blend of elegant and cosy country interior. You will find it hard to tear yourself away from this charming retreat. When the day is done, make your way upstairs to the first floor and the lovingly finished bedrooms. The master bedroom is home to a wonderfully comfy king size bed and the second bedroom is a twin or a king size on request. Outside is a generously sized west facing garden with a patio area. Dine alfresco with your breakfast before heading out for a day out in the Dales or light up the BBQ and enjoy warm balmy evenings well into the night with a glass of wine.
