Take a trip over the river to Fowey on the passenger ferry and explore the shops and restaurants or take the small ferry to the village of Mevagissey. For walkers, there are plenty of coastal paths to choose from while beach lovers can take their pick of the many beaches close by along the Cornish coast. For a fun day out, there is a range of attractions worth a visit including: The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project, Charlestown one of the filming locations in the TV series Poldark and Hangloose Adventures. Step inside from the street into this quirky and stylish cottage, which boasts an array of modern comforts yet is steeped in its rural past throughout. The lounge has a comfy sofa so cosy up and watch your favourite film on the Smart TV in front of the wood burner after a day exploring your surroundings. An opening leads through to the kitchen/diner with seating for all the family making this a great social space. The kitchen area is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so create a lazy breakfast whilst planning your day ahead. Heading upstairs to the first floor, you will find the double bedroom with plenty of hanging space. The single bedroom also has an additional pull out single bed. Completing the cottage inside is the bathroom with a handheld shower over the bath and WC. Heading outside, to the rear is a storage area and steps which lead to a raised decking area, perfect for al fresco dining or just sitting back and relaxing! There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display car park at the top of the village
