Dating back to the 1700s, this delightful Grade II listed cottage oozes character and charm. Located along a peaceful bridleway, surrounded by beautiful scenery, it provides the perfect base to explore the local area. A path directly from the back door leads down to the Nidderdale Way, with an abundance of walks and cycle trails to explore. Situated in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are an abundance of quaint villages and spectacular sights to enjoy nearby. The popular town of Pateley Bridge is just 3 miles away, where you can browse the many independent shops along the high street or grab a bite to eat in one of the cafes or restaurants. Stepping through the front door of this period property takes you straight into the charming lounge, which is a cosy and welcoming room for relaxing in after a long day. Here you will find a feature fireplace with a wood burner, Smart TV and delightful exposed beams. Off the lounge is a quaint dining room with a traditional wooden table and a selection of books to choose from. The light and airy kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher. By the kitchen is the old dairy, still adorned with old meat hooks and bursting with character, which is now used as a utility room and features a fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. From the lounge, uneven stone stairs lead up to the first floor where a king size bedroom with an en suite shower and a WC sits at the front of the property and a double bedroom overlooks the rear of the cottage. There is also a bathroom with a handheld shower over the bath and WC. Soak up the sunshine on warm days with an abundance of outdoor space. At the front of the cottage, you will find a beautiful, enclosed garden with a patio area, furniture and a BBQ. From the garden there is a footpath through the owner s farm to Sugar Hill and beyond. Enjoy a picnic on the grass or sit on the bench beside the stream and listen to the water trickling by. There is an outhouse for secure cycle storage and off road parking for two cars.
