There are numerous activities and tourist spots to enjoy nearby, including the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, Metro Centre, Beamish Museum, beautiful coastline, the Roman Wall and plenty of Northumbrian castles. There are many coastal and country walks to be taken nearby, and plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs are situated just a short drive away. The cottage is a single level property, with a rustic lounge/diner greeting visitors on entry. This includes comfortable ample seating in front of a cosy wood burner, a TV/DVD, radio and a CD player. The dining table seating four guests in style. The well equipped kitchen includes everything you need to make your holiday escape into a home, with its electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher meaning self catering is taken care of. There is a light and airy king size bedroom with en suite shower room with WC, as well as a twin. The bathroom contains an electric shower over bath and WC. In additional to the living quarters, there is a handy utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. The property is in a complex with a neighbouring property, sharing a courtyard with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. It is possible for larger groups to book both properties. Guests have access to one and a half acres of communal gardens too. Secure off road parking for one car is available at the cottage.
