Upon entering this stylish property, named in honor of a remarkable thoroughbred racehorse, guests are welcomed into a bright, open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area. The space is enhanced by two large picture windows that frame views of the garden and deer park. The lounge features a large sofa and three comfortable easy chairs, perfect for relaxation or movie nights on the Smart TV. The contemporary kitchen is equipped with modern amenities, including an eye-level electric fan oven, built-in combination microwave, fridge/freezer, wine cooler, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, and dishwasher. An induction hob with a vertical rising extractor fan is integrated into the granite breakfast bar, where guests can enjoy drinks and conversation while preparing meals.
The rustic luxury theme continues in the two well-appointed bedrooms, each situated at opposite ends of the cottage. Both rooms are furnished with king-size zip and link beds, which can be converted into two twin beds upon request, and feature sumptuous linens for a restful night’s sleep. Each bedroom boasts large picture windows and direct access to the garden through glazed doors. The spacious en suite bathrooms offer a freestanding bath with a Velux window for stargazing, a wet room-style shower, and a WC, along with locally sourced toiletries for a touch of indulgence.
Outside, the property features a generous south-facing lawned garden complete with an attractive stone patio and outdoor furniture, ideal for enjoying drinks while soaking in the natural surroundings. An outdoor shower is available for cleaning off after walks, and a welly rack is conveniently located by the rear door for storing outdoor footwear. A gate from the garden leads directly into the deer park, where guests can encounter sheep and hares alongside the deer. The property also offers private off-road parking for three cars and utilizes a private water supply, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay.
