Newmarket, on the border of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, is considered the birthplace and national centre of British horse racing. The Imperial War Museum at Duxford (17.1 miles) is a must see for history buffs, with regular air displays throughout the year. Newmarket has a train station with direct service to Cambridge and London (1 mile). When you enter the cottage, you will notice a good sized lounge with a cosy feel. This light and airy space has a welcoming feel thanks to its warm and inviting styling. The lounge area has a feature fire place, two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV where you can catch up on your favourite shows after a long day exploring the area. Climb the stairs to two lovely bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds and storage for your belongings. The family bathroom completes this floor and there is also a convenient downstairs WC with a washer/dryer. The courtyard features a table with seats for four where you can have your morning coffee.
