The sweeping sandy beach is perfect for picnics and children can enjoy exploring the rock pools. The high street with a range of shops, eateries, Italian ice cream parlour and pubs is also within a short walk. Explore nearby Druridge Bay park and beach, Amble with its beautiful marina, fishing port and Sunday market, Seahouses, Bamburgh beach and castle, Holy Island and Alnwick Castle, all easy to drive to for memorable days out.
