This home from home is located in Stretton Westwood, just 1.5 miles from Much Wenlock with shops, pubs and restaurants, a stunningly beautiful historic town. It was the birthplace of the modern Olympian movement and offers unique shops, pubs, tearooms, a popular family butcher, a 12th century priory, and a museum. Other attractions all within 15 miles include the Ironbridge Gorge Museum, Blists Hill Victorian Town, National Trust s Attingham Park, Benthall Hall, The Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley. Pop to Acton Scott Victorian Farm and the Severn Valley Railway in Bridgnorth. Well worth a visit is medieval Shrewsbury, with independent shops, a castle, theatre, riverside boat trips, an abbey, and museums. Activities on offer include hang gliding on the Mynd, pony trekking on Wenlock Edge, and walking and cycling in and around Shropshire to name but a few. This fabulous single storey property is full of original features such as wooden beams and stone walls with lovely views of the surrounding fields, offering a truly relaxing break. After a full day out, relax in the lounge on the sofa with patio doors leading to the garden which overlooks the fields. In the lounge, you will find a Freeview TV, Blu ray player, and a wood burner for cosy nights in. There are two bedrooms to choose from the super king size zip and link (which can be made up as a twin on request) and the double both designed for a good night's sleep. Enjoy a leisurely start to the day in the spacious bathroom with a shower, bath, and WC. Outside, you will find a private patio area with garden furniture. Enjoy a stroll in the orchard or just embrace the open countryside views from sunrise to sunset. There is private off road parking for two cars and a lockable bike store available. The owners are on site, though your privacy is assured at all times.
