The picturesque fishing port of Looe has changed very little over the generations and boasts a harbour where you can take boat trips that include fishing charters to a leisurely glass bottom ride out to St George s Island. There is also a sandy beach, and a fantastic mix of bistros, inns, restaurants, and independent stores all within walking distance. Close by is Polperro (5 miles) where you will find a picture postcard harbour and colourful narrow streets. Outdoor enthusiasts will be in their element exploring the South West Coast Path and scenic Bodmin Moor, or by visiting the quaint seaside village of Seaton where you can enjoy a relaxed pub lunch and beach walks. Other local attractions accessible from here include Golitha Falls, Cardinham Woods and Lanhydrock House (17 miles). Stepping inside this traditional 16th century stone cottage into the fantastically light modern kitchen/diner with quirky steps up to the cooking area which is equipped with everything you need with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, the perfect spot to cook a delicious meal for the family. The dining room has a table and chairs and a cosy feel where you can all enjoy meals and socialising together after a day exploring the area. Moving through to the cosy lounge you are hit with the sense of character and history of the cottage, with large windows, comfy seating and a Smart TV where you can look forward to snuggling up and watching your favourite programmes. Moving up the traditional cottage stairs and onto the first floor, there is a twin bedroom with bunk beds and a separate single bed and next door is the bathroom with a corner bath, shower over the bath and WC. There is also a useful utility cupboard with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Moving up the next staircase to the top floor is the master bedroom with a king size bed and Smart TV. There is short stay parking available at the harbour on West Looe just 200 yards away, with long stay parking available at the Millpool car park 800 yards away.
