This comfortable home from home offers fabulous, peaceful surroundings away from the pressures of everyday life. Enjoy walks from your door with a huge range of walking and cycling trails taking in nearby Kielder Castle and its stunning lakeside, which is located in England s largest forest. Starry night skies and an array of birds and wildlife await. For adventurers, try archery, wall climbing, mountain biking, and zip wires. On the water, you can fish, sail, water ski, paddleboard and canoe, and there are some lovely nature based activities too like pond dipping and wildlife tracking. There is a village pub and post office nearby. For shopping and more pubs/restaurants head to the market town of Bellingham (18 miles). Come in through the front door of this lovely cottage and you enter a small hallway where you can leave your outdoor boots and coats. Head through to the bright and airy lounge with comfortable seating and unwind in front of the warming wood burner and watch your favourite shows on Smart TV. The kitchen/diner is located just off the lounge with views on two sides of the large garden. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, slow cooker, coffee machine, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Enjoy sociable meals sitting at the dining table with seating for four. A glazed door leads you into the garden conservatory which has comfortable rattan furniture. In the warmer months, you can sit here with a book, observe the visiting birds and enjoy your drinks while looking at the garden. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms each with plenty of storage space; one to the front with a king size bed and Smart TV and the other overlooking the garden with twin 2 6 twin zip and link beds (which can be made up as a king size bed on request) and a Smart TV. The contemporary bathroom features a luxury, freestanding bath, a shower cubicle and WC. Outside, you will find a large, lawned garden to the rear of the property with side gate access. There are several sets of garden furniture and a BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining and drinks, plus a couple of sun loungers for relaxing in the sunshine. For cyclists, there is a shed with a bike stand and anchorage for up to four bikes. Parking is on street (subject to availability) opposite the house, plus there is additional free parking available within a few metres of the property.
