Just 4.3 miles away in Kidderminster is the start of the Severn Valley Railway line which meanders along the River Severn, stopping at picturesque stations on its way through to the charming market town of Bridgnorth. To explore some of the rich history of the area, be sure to visit Harvington Hall (4.2 miles), a moated medieval and Elizabethan manor house that dates back to the 13th century. The property is also ideal for families, with the West Midland Safari Park just 5.3 miles away, which holds over 165 species of exotic animals among other theme park attractions. Step into the property, which is located within the owner s large estate, and enter the main entrance hall. This is an ideal place to take off any coats and muddy boots following a lovely walk in the Worcestershire countryside. Make your way into the spacious lounge/kitchen with comfortable seating for you and your family or friends to enjoy a movie together on the large Smart TV. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need for a self catered stay, along with a dining table to gather around whilst enjoying the lovely views across to the owners stables and surrounding fields. Also on the ground floor is the first of two spacious bedrooms, a king size room with a sofa and a Smart TV. The bathroom is just off the entrance hall, with a large bath to enjoy a good soak after a busy day exploring the area. Head upstairs and into the second bedroom which is also a king size. There is also a separate building that houses a washing machine and tumble dryer for guests use. Outside, the property has a lawned garden area with outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ. A real highlight is an all weather sand and fibre arena, 50 x 35 metres, together with the availability of a grassed paddock and overnight stable. By separate negotiation, guests can bring their horses along with them and use this for exercise. For guests who do not require this facility, it is a lovely opportunity to have the chance to see some of the other horses kept here. The property is accessed through private gates and parking is available for a horse vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes. Lincombe equestrian centre (1.6 miles), Stourport equestrian centre (0.7 miles) and Hartlebury Common (0.9 miles) are all close by for equestrian guests.
