The cottage is one of three adjoining south-facing properties that overlook a charming farm courtyard, complete with Grade II listed barns and a traditional 17th-century farmhouse. Inside, the bright and welcoming barn conversion features a spacious lounge/diner equipped with comfortable seating, a TV/DVD, and a delightful dining area. The kitchen is attractively designed and fully equipped with modern appliances, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Guests also have access to a shared laundry room, which includes a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a convenient ground floor WC.
On the upper level, the cottage boasts two cozy bedrooms: a double room and a twin room characterized by charming floor-to-ceiling beams. A well-appointed bathroom is also located upstairs, featuring a shower over the bath and a WC. Outside, guests can enjoy a lovely fenced patio area with garden furniture that overlooks a tranquil fountain, perfect for outdoor dining in the sunshine. An open lawn area within a minute’s walk is available for recreational activities, making it suitable for ball games and family fun.
The surrounding landscape is particularly enchanting in late April and early May when beautiful carpets of bluebells bloom in nearby woodlands. From the rear of the cottage, visitors can savor lovely views stretching across open fields toward the iconic church tower of Godshill, with the scenic St. George’s Downs in the background. For added convenience, car parking spaces are available close to the cottage, allowing guests to explore the stunning sandy beaches of Ventnor, Sandown, and Shanklin just a short drive away.
