The pretty village of Flamborough occupies a superb setting, perched on a picturesque peninsula on the east coast of Yorkshire, 4 miles from Bridlington. Offering visitors a small selection of welcoming pubs and restaurants, Flamborough also has much to offer the rambler, historian and birdwatcher. There are spectacular cliffs, which form an 8 mile stretch of heritage coastline, and at Flamborough Head, you ll find two historic lighthouses. To the north of the village, the magnificent 400 ft cliffs are home to one of the largest colonies of nesting sea birds in England. Discover the puffins at Bempton (4 miles), follow the fascinating natural trails at South Landing or the wooded ravine at Danes Dyke. Alternatively, explore the smugglers caves at North Landing. Opposite the property you will find Flamborough Head Golf Course. Take the steps into the property and be welcomed into the entrance hall, head through the dining room where you can admire the magnificent views of the lighthouse from the dining table. The adjoining kitchen has everything you need to help you prepare a picnic, breakfast and dinner including an electric hob/oven, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is also a washing machine for those holiday practicalities. The lounge is spacious and offers comfortable seating whether you want to watch a film on the TV with Freeview or sit and read a book in the sunroom overlooking the garden.
