For lovers of the seaside, you have the beautiful sprawling beaches of St Cyrus, Montrose, and Lunan Bay with its sand backed dunes and worthy of being on the list of Scotland s best beaches all within a 16 mile drive. The very historic and famous Dunottar Castle and its dramatic coastal location is a must do, used frequently for many a film location and situated close to Stonehaven. Whilst there don t forget a trip to the Stonehaven Outdoor Pool in summer and its moonlight swims until midnight. Entering through the front entrance you will arrive at a spacious lounge area with high ceilings and original features from this one time Bank that served the local people of Edzell, yes there still is a walk in safe a very quirky feature of the property.
