This lovingly restored cottage is tucked away down a single track road, a great place to escape and for a family, friends or couples to get away together. There are local amenities 2 miles away, with some lovely coastal and cliff walks from Rockcliffe to Sandyhills. The local area is a haven for wildlife and birds and there are some fantastic bike tracks in Dalbeattie, one of the 7 Stanes Mountain biking trails. As you enter the cottage, you will find a large, bright lounge with an open fire, a Smart TV and comfy seating with views over the open fields. There is a twin bedroom off the lounge which again is bright and cheerful. From the lounge, up a step, you will enter the kitchen/diner. The kitchen offers lots of space to cook and is great for chatting while cooking. It's equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. From the kitchen, there is a lovely sunroom/conservatory with views across the garden and towards the sea. From the kitchen, the steep, cottage style staircase takes you up to the first floor; here you will find the king size bedroom and the bathroom which has a separate shower, roll top bath and WC. There is also a utility room with a washing machine and drying space. Outside, the raised patio area in the south facing garden offers fabulous sea views and is the perfect place to kick back with a good book. The enclosed garden also has a charcoal BBQ, lawn, and lots of hidden areas for you to explore on different levels. It's a great place to sit out at night and stargaze or enjoy during the day in the sunshine. Lockable storage is available for bikes and golf clubs. There is private parking to the side of the house for two cars.
