This property is the ideal location for walkers and lovers of the outdoors. Step outside the back door and find yourself immediately on the coast to coast trail that provides myriad strolls or hikes for walkers of any level to enjoy. The summit of the magnificent Scafell Pike is just 5 miles away or the top of Dale Head is just 2 miles from both, you can enjoy the most amazing views of the surrounding area. There are also some fabulous eateries close to the property too where you can enjoy a great lunchtime or evening meal, including at the nearby youth hostel. You can even hop on a bus to Keswick from the stop which is just 100 metres from the property. From here you can explore Derwentwater by boat or enjoy a day in the museums. For a day of adventure, you can t miss Honister Mine (less than 3 miles) with opportunities to explore the mines, go canyoning or traverse the Infinity Bridge. Langstrath Beck is also less than a mile where you can jump in for a wild swim. Head through the porch and into the entrance hallway which leads you into the house. With an electric oven and hob, microwave, under counter fridge, and toaster, find all you need in the kitchen/diner to cook up delicious feasts. A separate utility room has a freezer, an iron and ironing board and there is also a washer/dryer. Enjoy meals at the table with loved ones before relaxing in the lounge. Ascend two steps and take a seat on the sofa or chairs and enjoy time in front of the TV/DVD where the decorative open fire. A second lounge is also a cosy space with a coal effect electric fire and comfortable sofa and chairs. This is a great spot for enjoying a competitive board game or settling with a book for a moment of peace and quiet. Completing the ground floor is the shower room with WC so you can freshen up after walks without heading upstairs. When it s time to say goodnight the two first floor bedrooms are lovely spaces in which to relax. Both the super king size and the double bedrooms have TVs so you can enjoy lazy mornings in bed before starting the day. The family bathroom has a bath (currently unavailable), separate shower and WC. Before heading out on an adventure, enjoy a tea or coffee outside in the garden and enjoy the fresh air. The garden slopes down to the river and has an area to sit and take in the views. There is off road parking.
