Nearby market town Bishop Auckland (7 miles) is great for shopping and a visit to The Auckland Project and Auckland Castle. Discover Raby Castle (8.5 miles) set in a deer park and the market town of Barnard Castle (12.5 miles). Explore historic Durham s famous cathedral, river walks, shopping and restaurants. Enter this inviting property through the porch where you can leave your outdoor coats and boots. Head into the open plan lounge/diner with its original exposed beams and a feature fireplace. After a day out exploring this lovely area, return to relax on the comfortable sofas surrounding the cosy wood burner. Unwind with a drink and read a book or enjoy a movie night watching the Smart TV with Sky together.
