The historic port town of Bideford (3miles) offers shops, pubs and restaurants, the fishing village of Appledore (6 miles) with its maritime connections or the seaside town of Westward Ho! (4 miles) with its sandy beach. Visit the famous fishing village of Clovelly 11.5 miles away. Leisure activities includes golf, water sports including surfing and windsurfing, horse riding, walking and fishing. The Tarka Trail offers over 48km of traffic free paths for cyclists and walkers. Alternatively try RHS Rosemoor Gardens (9 miles), Tapeley Park and Gardens (5 miles). Kids of all ages will love The Big Sheep (2 miles) and The Milky Way adventure parks (9miles). Step up external steps to the front door and you find yourself in the cosy lounge with comfy sofas, Smart TV and warming wood burner. Just off the lounge is a small snug room with further seating and a useful separate ground floor WC.
