The beach is well known for a wide range of water sports, so you can choose whether to watch, have lessons or show off your skills on the water. Enjoy a drink and a meal in one of the two popular pub/restaurants or dine in the bistro by night and cafe by day. If you prefer to showcase your own culinary skills, stock up in the village store for alfresco dining back at the property. Wander the coastal path to explore Seahouses busy fishing harbour (2 miles) and take a boat ride to the Farne Islands. Visit Bamburgh Castle and beach (5 miles) and then drive over to Holy Island (15 miles). Try Craster Harbour (8.5 miles) for walks and tasty seafood. From the courtyard walk into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its comfortable seating in the lounge where you can settle back to relax and read a good book or watch TV. The kitchen window overlooks the village green to the front of the property and is equipped with an electric oven and hob, a fridge with an icebox, and a microwave. Sit down together at the dining table for a meal and to plan your daily activities. The two bedrooms are on the first floor, each with a vaulted ceiling that adds to the sense of space upstairs.
