Located in the popular town of Bakewell, just a short stroll from its many shops, cafes, restaurants and the famous 19th century Bakewell Pudding bakery. With the River Wye running through the market town, there are plenty of peaceful walks to enjoy in the area. The Peak District has so much to offer for young and old to enjoy. Chatsworth House and Gardens are known as the jewel in the crown for the area, and don t forget to stop at the famous Chatsworth Farm Shop for supplies. There is also Haddon Hall a short drive away, which oozes history. The Tissington trail, Monsal trail, and High Peak trail are fantastic terrain for bikes, being disused railways. Step inside the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a welcoming sight. The lounge area is comfortable and stylish with lovely sofas surrounding the warming wood burner. Put your feet up and enjoy watching something entertaining on the TV. The kitchen area is lit up beautifully with a large skylight and hosts everything you need to rustle up a good meal such as an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The wood worktops and Belfast sink compliment the character perfectly and the nearby dining table is the perfect place to stop and relax. Heading upstairs to the first floor there is a bright and airy single bedroom with an additional single pull out bed. The nearby bathroom offers a roll top bath which is perfect for relaxing, and a WC.Heading upstairs again, the second floor presents the master bedroom with beautiful king size bed, surrounded by stylish furniture where you will undoubtedly get a good night s rest. Outside you will find a small rear courtyard with bistro set, a lovely space to enjoy a morning coffee. The cottage offers a parking permit for one car.
