Additionally, a footpath leads to the harbour, where a seasonal foot ferry operates, providing access to the nearby village of Walberswick.
The cottage is richly adorned with period features, enhancing its cosy atmosphere. Inside, guests will find a well-equipped kitchen with modern utilities, including an electric oven, microwave, fridge with icebox, and a dishwasher, alongside essential items like a kettle and toaster. The living space includes a comfortable sitting room, a dining area, and a cloakroom, ensuring a relaxing environment. The property also boasts Wi-Fi and gas-fired central heating for added convenience and comfort during your stay.
Outdoors, Christmas Cottage offers a small shared alleyway leading to a private patio area, furnished for relaxation. Beyond this, a larger garden awaits, complete with a grassy area and a pagoda that provides stunning views over Southwold Common. The property is pet-friendly, allowing one well-behaved dog to join your holiday for an additional fee. However, smoking is not permitted on the premises, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for all guests.
For added peace of mind, a £100 security deposit is required four weeks prior to arrival, and guests may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Waiver. Full travel and key collection instructions will be provided upon receipt of payment, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
