The Quillett is a charming 350-year-old thatched cottage located in Kingsbridge, Devon, just a mile from the picturesque South Milton National Trust Beach. This traditional property can accommodate four guests across two bedrooms and serves as an ideal base for exploring the stunning South Hams region, renowned for its natural beauty and rural charm. Visitors will appreciate the cottage's spacious lounge featuring an inglenook fireplace, comfortable seating, and modern amenities like a 42-inch Smart TV and Bluetooth stereo. The well-equipped farmhouse-style kitchen, complete with a small breakfast area, opens to a sunny patio that leads into a delightful garden, perfect for enjoying the serene surroundings.

Inside the cottage, the layout includes a bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower unit situated halfway up the stairs. The main bedroom boasts a king-size bed and ample storage, while the cozy second bedroom features twin beds and a built-in wardrobe. Both rooms overlook the peaceful gardens, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere of the cottage. With newly installed electric radiators and a wood-burning stove, guests can enjoy comfort and warmth throughout their stay. The property is smoke-free and does not allow pets, ensuring a clean and serene environment for all visitors.

The surrounding area is rich in natural attractions, with rugged cliffs, sandy coves, and charming villages that invite exploration. South Milton village, with its historic church and village hall, is conveniently located between Kingsbridge, a bustling market town, and the coastal haven of Salcombe. However, it is important to note that the cottage features multiple steps, both inside and out, and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
