Town: On the western side of Anglesey, close to Rhosneig and the major railway that travels to Holyhead, lies a little settlement called Llanfaelog. In addition to its own 1848-built church, St. Maelog's, Llanfaelog also has a limited number of stores and eateries. Traeth Llydan, a rocky beach bordered by dunes, Porth Tyn Tywyn, and the lovely lake of Llyn Maelog are all nearby and provide lovely walks along the water. Due to its two sand beaches and popularity as a hub for all watersports, the nearby seaside town of Rhosneigr won the Green Coast Seaside Award. There are many delectable restaurants to pick from, and trekkers may join the Anglesey Coast Path, which circles the island and offers stunning coastline views. A golf course and RSPB nature reserve are nearby, while Holyhead, which is only a short drive away, has the breath-taking Breakwater Country Park, which was constructed inside of a disused quarry, as well as a maritime museum and a number of beautiful beaches at Trearddur Bay.
Located in Ty Croes, this cottage is in a rural area and on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and The Dingle Nature Reserve, while Oriel Ynys Môn and Holyhead Maritime Museum are cultural highlights. Summit to Sea and Anglesey Model Village & Gardens are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking/biking trails, rock climbing, and cycling.
