Outside there is a private front patio with picnic bench, as well as off-road parking for four cars. Within 4.9 miles you will find a shop, within 1 miles, a pub (via footpath/lane on foot or 2.5 miles by car) and within 0.1 mile, a river and please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Bunts Barn is a lovely base from which to explore all that Devon has to offer. Town: Hatherleigh is an ancient market town consisting of cob and thatch cottages situated in the heart of rural Devon. Hatherleigh lies in the Torridge Valley just seven miles from the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, and is a wonderful central location for the coast to coast long distance trail, which includes the popular Tarka Trail. The town itself offers a varied selection of interesting craft shops, country inns and cafes. Within driving distance are Okehampton Castle, the beautiful RHS Rosemoor Gardens at Torrington, and even to the dramatic surfing beaches around Bude. Hatherleigh’s central position makes it an ideal location from which to explore this area of Devon.
Located in Okehampton, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river. Cotehele House and Gardens and Buckland Abbey are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Dartmoor National Park and Lydford Gorge. Clovelly Village and The Big Sheep are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails, rock climbing, and cycling nearby.
