The local area is ideal for scenic walks and bike rides, especially along the Shropshire Union canal, and a variety of exciting watersports on the nearby River Dee at Llangollen. The Willow Art Gallery and British Ironwork Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Pontcysyllte Aquaduct and Chirk Castle. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails, cycling, and horse riding nearby.
