Winters Cottage is ideally situated on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park, just a few meters away from the stunning Glens Clova and Prosen. Its location provides easy access to both Balmoral Castle and Edinburgh, each approximately an hour and a half's drive away, presenting excellent opportunities for day trips. The cottage is also a perfect base for guests attending events like the World Cycling Championships in Glasgow, which took place from August 3 to 13, 2023. Throughout the year, visitors can partake in a variety of local activities and celebrations, including Burns Night suppers, Valentine's Day events at The Gin Bothy in Glamis, and festive gatherings during Christmas and St. Andrew's Day.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Winters Cottage serves as a gateway to numerous recreational activities such as walking, golfing, cycling, and fishing, all set against the backdrop of Scotland's stunning countryside.
