Upon entering the cottage, visitors are greeted by a cosy living room adorned with beamed ceilings and a slate floor, creating a warm ambiance. The highlight of this space is the raised wood-burning stove, perfect for cozy evenings after a day of exploration. The room is equipped with a selection of DVDs and a Smart TV featuring Roku functionality, ensuring entertainment during downtime. The kitchen, spacious and well-appointed, includes a dining table and chairs, making it a great spot for family meals. Additionally, the ground floor houses a generous bathroom and an extra WC for convenience.
Ascending the stairs, guests will find two inviting bedrooms, each showcasing lofty sloping beams that add to the cottage's character. One bedroom features a king-size double bed, while the other offers twin beds, accommodating various sleeping arrangements. Beyond the cottage, across the lane, lies a large private garden, complete with a table, chairs, and a hammock nestled under mature trees, providing a serene outdoor space for relaxation. An unfenced stream runs along one side of the garden, enhancing the natural beauty of the setting.
For additional leisure, a splendid garden house is available from Easter to the end of September, furnished with a PlayStation, Wii, kitchenette, and shower—perfect for both relaxation and entertainment. The location is also ideal for beach lovers, with stunning sandy shores at Polzeath, Padstow, Rock, and Trebarwith Strand just a short distance away, inviting guests to enjoy the breathtaking coastal scenery and outdoor activities that Cornwall has to offer.
