Wdig Wen has many original features are retained in this charming cottage, the lime mortar roof, original beams solid wood thumb latched internal doors and some original exposed stone. Step inside into the comfortable snug/dining room, with wood burner and exposed beams, with views to Carn Llidi and beyond to the rear of the cottage, perfect for relaxing after a day’s exploring. Up one step takes you to the light and airy, cosy living room, with comfy sofas, and tasteful furnishings, TV, and table lamps, filled with holiday ambiance, with stunning views to the rear and uninterrupted sea views to the front. The inviting cottage kitchen, which is modern and fully equipped, will inspire the cooks of the party, although it is so tempting to daydream out of the shuttered windows at the splendid sea views and the craggy mountains to the rear. On the ground floor there is a stylish twin room, with lovely views of Carn Llidi, a family bathroom and spacious master bedroom with elegant en-suite shower room. The first-floor bedroom, with low beams, suitable for two children sleeping on futons is accessed via a wooden staircase from the kitchen. Panoramic views out to sea, to the front and over the craggy hills and moorland to the rear are enjoyed from here.
Set within a walk of Whitesands Beach and a short drive from other fabulous sandy beaches of North Pembrokeshire, within 1.5 miles of picturesque St. Davids, with cafés, restaurants, the magnificent cathedral, shops and pubs, Wdig Wen is the perfect holiday cottage in any season.
