3 Albion Cottage is a charming coastal retreat situated in the picturesque village of Walberswick, Suffolk, accommodating up to four guests in its two well-appointed bedrooms. This delightful cottage is conveniently located near the stunning Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it an ideal base for exploring the region. Guests can enjoy the sandy beach, two excellent pubs, and a vibrant village green, along with an organic café and local shops. The village is particularly famous for its crabbing activities, adding to the quintessential seaside experience.
Upon entering the cottage, visitors are greeted by a stylish sitting room that exudes comfort and relaxation, featuring two sofas, a feature fireplace, and a Smart TV. The open-plan kitchen and dining area provide an inviting space for family gatherings, beautifully blending traditional and modern décor. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential appliances, including an electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, kettle, and toaster, allowing guests to prepare and enjoy meals at the farmhouse-style dining table, which comfortably seats four.
The ground floor also boasts a modern shower room, complete with a walk-in shower, wash basin, heated towel rail, and WC, enhancing the convenience of the space. Ascending the steep carpeted stairs leads to the first floor, where the two bedrooms are located. The master bedroom, overlooking the garden, features a king-size bed and is bathed in afternoon sunlight, while the second bedroom, positioned at the front, offers glimpses of the sea and is furnished with two full-size single beds, making it suitable for both adults and children.
Outside, 3 Albion Cottage features a lovely garden that enjoys the afternoon sun, complete with outdoor seating and a parasol on the patio for relaxation. Although there is shared access for neighboring cottages at the rear, guests will appreciate the provided parking permit for a nearby car park, with additional parking available on the surrounding roads. The idyllic Walberswick village offers a range of amenities, including tea rooms, pubs, and restaurants, and is just a short walk from Southwold, which boasts a vibrant mix of shops, eateries, a beach, a lighthouse, and the renowned Adnams Brewery. With nearby attractions such as Framlingham Castle and RSPB Minsmere, 3 Albion Cottage promises an authentic and memorable holiday experience in a stunning coastal setting.
