The nearby village of Heamoor has a shop, bakery, fish & chip shop and pub. The National Trust gardens at Trengwainton are a 10-minute walk away. A comfortable and quiet base for exploring west Cornwall, walkers will enjoy the coastal footpath. There are sandy beaches at Sennen, St Ives and Porthcurno with Minack open air theatre. Day trips are available to the Isles of Scilly by air or sea. Pubs and restaurants 2 miles.
