The beautiful Nantcol Valley is the setting for this 17th century architect designed barn conversion, now a holiday cottage on an ancient Snowdonia farmstead. Overlooking wooded hillsides, rolling fields grazed by sheep, and in the distance, Cardigan Bay.

Beamed ceilings and latch doors complement the stylish solid wood dining table and country chairs of this Snowdonia holiday cottage. On the first floor, you will find two bedrooms which are spacious, with lovely views of the spectacular countryside. There is also a bathroom on this floor with walk-in shower.
A waterfall walk nearby takes you up to a plateau from where there are spectacular views of the Bay, Lleyn Peninsula with Snowdonia behind, is a wonderful spot for picnics. Snowdon is the backdrop to Llanbedr, a timeless village on the banks of the Artro River with clear waters with otters and good fishing, you may also spot buzzards, red kites and the rare ring ouzel.

Located in Llanbedr, this cottage is in a rural area. Y Lasynys Fawr and Ty Crwyn are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Royal St. David's Golf Club and Dinas Oleu. Hufenfa'r Castell and Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including golfing.
Self-catering cottage holidays in the UK and Ireland can still be a green option. You can have the comforts of home and the flexibility to do what you want; when you want - without the hassles of air travel!
