This impressively spacious cottage has an abundance of character and is the perfect base from which to explore the North Cornwall coastline, its majestic views, stunning beaches and beautiful countryside.
Once through the inviting porch, you are greeted by an open plan living space with the additional charm of a peaceful snug with a small study area where you can simply relax, work, read or write without too many distractions. The delightfully bright, fitted kitchen is well equipped and has a breakfast bar and lovely range cooker. A very useful utility room with shower completes the ground floor. Above you is a superb galleried landing, reached by a flight of stairs which gives you a view of the ground floor below you. There are two bedrooms, one with double bed, plenty of storage space and pedestal vanity sink, the other with twin beds. There is a full-sized family bathroom with bath for that all important luxurious soak, with shower over. The views across the river are a pure delight with the setting of a traditional Cornish stone-built church behind. Your private courtyard garden is a quiet place where morning coffee, al fresco dining or sundowner can be enjoyed.
Set off to explore and discover a town with many amenities and interesting architecture, whilst a 30-minute drive takes you to the picturesque coast, vast golden sandy beaches, coves and cliff top walks. Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay have stunning, rugged coastline views across the vast Atlantic Ocean, whilst the rock pools at low tide are exciting for all ages. Bude, with its several beaches is a popular town with surfers and swimmers alike and boasts cafés, gift shops, restaurants and bars. Pretty Boscastle harbour, Port Isaac, where the popular TV drama ‘Doc Martin’ is filmed and vibrant Padstow, where excellent restaurants create wonderful seafood dishes are all within 30 miles and where you will experience Cornish life to the full.

Launceston Castle and Launceston Town Hall and Guildhall are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Launceston Golf Club and Trethorne Leisure Park. Launceston Steam Railway and The Hidden Valley Discovery Park are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing and other activities like golfing.
