At the end of a private road, with it’ own off road parking space, Island View is in a quiet part of the island. Patio doors from the living room lead to the balcony, a perfect spot to sit and relax. The beaches of this popular holiday spot are surrounded by sheltered waters across from the Isle of Wight, making it ideal for water sports activities. It is renowned for its windsurfing and sailing activities, kayaking, power boating, jet ski, kite surfing and wake boarding. Local paddle-boating and windsurfing lessons are available close by. Every year there is a national windsurfing event, and a hive of sailing and nautical activity can be seen along the coastline. There are plenty of places to dine out, most easily reached by bike or foot. Close by there is a convenience store, off license, ice cream parlour, takeaways and even an award-winning fish and chip shop. Further afield Visit Portsmouth with waterside dining, ferry trips to the Isle of Wight, designer outlets, Natural History Museum, Spinnaker Tower, and the HMS Victor. The historic city of Chichester should not be missed you can watch a show at the renowned Chichester Festival Theatre, visit Goodwood Races including the Festival of Speed, explore the Cathedral and shops in the city centre and visit Chichester Harbour.
