This stunning lodge is located in a beautiful, quiet woodland park in the village of Corton, near Lowestoft. It is within walking distance of the sea and offers a tranquil and peaceful retreat by a pet friendly beach. The bright open-plan living area is the ideal place to sit back and relax after a long day at the beach or exploring the area. Patio doors open out onto the enclosed decking, where you can sit with your favourite tipple and listen to the bird song or lapping of the waves. Beautiful Corton beach can be accessed via a path that runs along the side of the site, ideal for dog walking or a quiet stroll.
Ideally located on the Norfolk and Suffolk border, both the coast and countryside are within reach for exploration. Head south to famous Southwold with its array of independent shops, the quintessential pier and the beach lined with brightly coloured beach huts. Southwold is also home to Adnams Brewery, where you can have a tour and tasting session. Aldeburgh is famous for its fish and chip shop, so get there early as it is very popular! Thorpeness is set around the mere and is worth a visit. Here you can hire a boat and see the islands named after Peter Pan characters, or take in a spot of golf.
Suffolk has many historic properties to visit such as Somerlayton Hall and Gardens, and the floating maritime museum at Lowestoft. Head inland and you can explore the Norfolk Broads National Park, a unique wetland that can be discovered on foot, bike or by boat. This natural landscape is home to rare wildlife and is particularly popular with birdwatchers. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub, and restaurant 500 yards.
