This charming area is famed for its very special sunsets, with mountains and miles of coastline to explore. With two bedrooms sleeping four guests, this is an ideal place for couples or a small family to enjoy the area.
There is a grocery store in the village of Penygroes just 4 miles down the road; for more amenities, a car is a must. Here you really are in the heart of all that the Llyn Peninsula has to offer, with lakes, coastal paths, fishing, bike trails, Snowdonia National Park, and popular tourist towns all within easy reach. Llanberis is 25 minutes’ drive away, where you will find the most popular path up to the summit of Mount Snowdon, and for a more leisurely way up use the Llanberis railway; be sure to book your tickets to avoid disappointment.
Llyn Padarn, also in Llanberis, offers the opportunity to hire kayaks and paddle boards. There are many beaches to explore in the area - you will be spoilt for choice! Just down the road, you will find popular Dinas Dinlle beach with wonderful views across the bay to Anglesey. Caernarfon Castle is only a short drive away, an imposing UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a great place to spend the day; why not grab a bite to eat in one of the many cafés, restaurants, or friendly pubs? You are also within easy reach of bustling Pwllheli, Morfa Nefyn, Criccieth and Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway. There is also Glasfryn Park where you can enjoy many activities such as go-karting, archery, crazy golf and many water sports to name a few. Located in Caernarfon, this cottage is on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Eryri National Park and Yr Wyddfa. Glasfryn Parc and Redline Indoor Karting are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing and other activities like golfing.
