The owners, Hugh and Heidi, have poured their passion for country living and sustainability into the restoration of these barns, ensuring that each space reflects stylish comfort. The interiors boast inviting communal areas with plush sofas and wood-burning stoves, complemented by mood lighting and striking artwork. With eleven spacious bedrooms, each equipped with luxurious en-suite bathrooms or walk-in showers, guests can enjoy a high level of comfort throughout their stay. The thoughtful design creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages relaxation and connection.

One of the standout features of Hill Farm Massingham is the enchanting herd of deer that roam freely around the property. These hand-fed fallow, sika, axis, barasinga, and red deer often approach the windows or visit guests, adding a unique charm to the experience. Each barn is adorned with bespoke antler chandeliers, reinforcing the deer theme and enhancing the cozy, upscale ambiance of the open-plan living spaces. The breathtaking views of the surrounding parkland further elevate the serene experience, making it a perfect retreat for nature lovers.

The barns can be booked individually or combined to accommodate larger groups, with configurations that allow for a maximum capacity of 31 guests. For example, Fallow Folly can be paired with The Owl House to sleep 17, or with Red Stag Lodge for a total of 21. Guests should be aware that dogs must remain on leads due to the presence of roaming deer, and the pool and sauna facilities are available year-round with allocated usage times. Upon arrival, guests will sign a Declaration/Disclaimer regarding the use of these amenities and the wildlife in the area, ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay at this idyllic countryside haven.
